​About Us

Speech-language pathologist Nita Stillwell received her B.S. in Communicative Disorders (1982) and M.S. in Speech Pathology (1985) at the University of Alabama.  After 7 years working in preschool, hospital, home health, & private clinic settings and 22 years in public schools in Alabama and Arkansas, in July, 2011, she started her own speech-language therapy business in Jonesboro, Arkansas out of a desire for the highest quality of services.  Initially providing therapy at Concordia Christian Academy, Nita opened her own location at 915 South Main St. in March, 2012.​

Nita absolutely LOVES helping people improve their communication skills and adores her clients. She provides effective, fun therapy in a positive, nurturing environment.  Parents and teachers typically notice rapid gains in children’s speech-language skills.  Nita also has experience working with children with autism, apraxia of speech, Down syndrome, dyslexia, and a wide range of cognitive problems.
